K-Pop Fever in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES — Hundreds of K-pop fans (short for Korean pop) gathered on Sunday November 13 in the capital Buenos Aires for the last show of the year called K-Pop Revolution on social media.

The crowd was hysterical as people shouted the name of their favorite Korean bands and danced the same choreography. These Argentine aficionados sing in Korean, are addicted to Korean dramas and Korean culture.
The Argentine city has turned into a K-pop hub as it is home to the largest K-Pop competition every year. Its Facebook group boasts more than 226,000 fans.
